Music is life. In 5th grade I joined orchestra in school to follow my sister's example, she played cello. By the time I made it to middle school my dad gave me a guitar and I wanted to be a rock star. Played in a few bands, but we never did anything big and we all went our own ways after high school. This is when I figured out I needed to learn how to do it on my own. Have you ever felt that way? Like you have to do it on your own? Well, I tried many tools including Cubase, Cool Edit, Fast Traker, Fruity Loops (that's what FL Studio was called back then). Finally, I landed on MPC 1000 after seeing a video of hip-hop producer Alias making beats on the MPC 2000 XL. Making beats on the MPC 1000 was a blast.
After sampling many CDs, Keyboards, and random instruments, I decided I wanted to play guitar to the beats so I was left wondering how to do that with the MPC 1000. Eventually I sold my MPC 1000 to buy Ableton Live so I could use audio tracks to record guitar. The was great for a while. But, I ran out of time for making music when I had to go to college full time and work a full time job.
After I graduated college and found a job I wanted to get back into making music again. This is when I found the MPC Live. After writing tracks on the MPC Live I decided I enjoyed the workflow and went for the MPC X. It took me a good couple of years of reading the manual and experimenting to figure out how to use the new MPC. Finally, I am at a point where I feel comfortable with the MPC X to make songs on it.
I don't want you to have to go through the struggle of going back and forth with different devices to make the music you want to make. This is why I made the MPC X Mega course. It is a short cut to learning how to use the MPC X to make music. I have also made a course for the MPC Live and when you sign up for the MPC X Mega Course today I will include the MPC Live course as well in case you ever decide to pick up a MPC Live in the future. Here is the link to the check out page so you can get started today. Hope to see you on the inside of the course.
